Our mission is to offer a digital platform that empowers service providers to showcase and manage their services efficiently while connecting with the student demographic. For students, our platform provides the capability of booking services knowing you will receive the quality and standards you expect from our service providers and always protected if situations where life goes wrong.
As recent graduates and former students, we deeply understand the challenges of transitioning to a new environment for university—particularly the difficulty of finding reliable health and beauty services in an unfamiliar area. BIMPE bridges this gap by fostering a seamless connection between local beauty service providers and university students, addressing the unique needs of this community. Our mission is to enhance convenience and confidence for students while enabling service providers to thrive in the market.
Booking Services
By making a booking through our platform, you agree to:
- As the customer, you provide all required details accurately to facilitate smooth service delivery.
- It is your responsibility to ensure that your booking is confirmed by the service provider before attending. You should receive a confirmation email or text message before the scheduled date and time of the booking.
- If a booking is not confirmed, you are entitled to a refund. In these cases, if informed by the service provider, an automatic refund procedure will be triggered, but it is always recommended that you contact us either via email at contact@bimpe.co.uk or through the contact form on our platform.
- Any agreements made directly with the service provider outside of the BIMPE platform are not protected by our policies and will not be considered in any claims.
- It is the customer’s responsibility to meet any requirements or prerequisites outlined by the service provider for the booked service.
- Failure to provide accurate information or to fulfil these requirements may lead to the cancellation of your booking without eligibility for a refund.
Cancellation
Cancellations are subject to the following policies:
- Customers may cancel bookings within the specified cancellation window to qualify for a refund.
- Bookings cancelled outside the allowable window will not be eligible for a refund.
- Service providers reserve the right to cancel bookings, in which case a refund or rescheduling option will be issued to the customer.
Refund of Services
Customer satisfaction is our priority, and we aim to provide high-quality services. However, we understand that there may be instances where a refund is necessary. Refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and must adhere to the following terms:
- Eligibility for Refund: Refunds are applicable only for bookings cancelled within the designated cancellation window as outlined during the booking process. Bookings that fall outside this window, or services that have already been completed, partially fulfilled, or rendered unsatisfactory due to customer error, are not eligible for a refund. Customers may request a refund under the guidelines of our Payment Protection Policy, which ensures that your payment is protected if service standards are not met or if the booking is cancelled within the eligible timeframe. Additionally, service providers have the authority to initiate refunds in cases where a booking is cancelled on their end or if they are unable to fulfil the service as agreed. - Requesting a Refund: To request a refund, customers must email our team at contact@bimpe.co.uk within 24 hours of the service being fulfilled, providing all relevant details, such as the booking ID and the reason for the refund request and proof (where possible).
- Processing Refunds: Approved refunds will be processed within 3 - 5 business days. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the service booking. Please note that processing times may vary depending on your payment provider.
- Non-Refundable Services / Refund: Certain services may be designated as non-refundable at the time of booking. These include but are not limited to, promotional or discounted services, missed appointments without prior notice, cancellations made outside the specified refund eligibility window, and any specific terms outlined in the service provider’s policy. To avoid any misunderstandings, we strongly encourage customers to review the service provider’s refund and cancellation policy before making a booking. This ensures clarity regarding the terms and conditions associated with the service.
Payment Protection
Payments made on our platform for services offered by our providers are eligible for either a full or partial refund, ensuring your satisfaction and peace of mind. We are committed to working through our service providers to deliver the highest quality service, empowering you to confidently make decisions on our platform. If you believe a refund is warranted, you can request one by submitting a claim against the provider or business responsible for delivering the service. Your claim should include clear proof and reasoning to support your request. Once submitted, claims are reviewed by a designated panel of members who assess the evidence and circumstances.
The panel’s decision will determine whether a full refund, a partial refund, or no refund is appropriate based on the specifics of the claim. This structured process ensures fairness and transparency, putting you at the forefront of your service experience while maintaining a secure and reliable platform. What is considered under the payment protection terms:
- Meeting Standard: We are dedicated to ensuring you receive the level of service you expect when booking through our platform. Our goal is to match or exceed your expectations for quality and reliability. If the service provided falls short of the agreed standards, you may be eligible for reimbursement where applicable.
- Time Assurance: We are committed to ensuring that the time slot you book is the time slot you are served. Punctuality is a cornerstone of our service because we value your time and aim to provide a seamless and reliable experience. In the rare instance that your service provider is delayed, we offer a structured refund policy to compensate for the inconvenience. 15 Minutes Late or More, you will be entitled to a 15% partial refund of the service charge. 30 Minutes Late or More, you will be entitled to a 40% partial refund of the service charge. 45 Minutes Late or More, you will be entitled to a full refund of the service charge.
- Safety: All businesses are assessed to ensure they meet safety requirements. In the unlikely scenario that you have a safety issue with one of the businesses we will ensure you receive full reimbursement
Giveaway Terms & Conditions
Participation in giveaways hosted on our platform is subject to the following conditions:
- Eligibility: Participants must meet the age, residency, and other criteria specified in the giveaway announcement.
- Entry: All entries must be submitted before the stated deadline. Late or incomplete entries will not be considered.
- Selection: Winners will be chosen fairly as per the giveaway’s rules, and the decision will be final and binding.
- Prizes: Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or alternative items unless explicitly stated.
- Disqualification: We reserve the right to disqualify any participant suspected of fraudulent behaviour or violation of the giveaway terms.
- Liability: The platform is not responsible for lost, damaged, or delayed prizes due to circumstances beyond our control.
